Journal of Kink and Community

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that align with the mission and scope of the Journal of Kink and Community. The journal publishes scholarship, research, and critical analysis related to kink, BDSM, sexuality, power, identity, and community-based knowledge production.

Submissions may include original research, theoretical or conceptual articles, practitioner reflections grounded in scholarly analysis, and interdisciplinary work that contributes to the growing body of knowledge in kink and community studies.

All submissions will be reviewed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of the journal. Manuscripts that are determined to be a good fit will proceed to peer review before a final editorial decision is made regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Editorial Disclosure: Manuscripts submitted by members of the editorial team are handled by another editor and undergo the same peer review process as all other submissions. Authors who serve on the editorial board are recused from editorial decisions regarding their own work.
