The Journal of Kink and Community is a space for exploring and deepening our understanding of kink, BDSM, and how they intersect with society, identity, and culture. We welcome a wide range of submissions, including original research that explores kink communities, practices, and experiences, from empirical studies to qualitative research and surveys. Theory papers that offer fresh perspectives on power dynamics, consent, and identity are highly valued, as are practical articles, guides, case studies, and personal stories from practitioners and educators that provide actionable knowledge. We also prioritize advocacy and social justice work, especially pieces that address kink ethics and highlight marginalized voices within the community. With a commitment to open access, the journal is here to amplify inclusive, ethical, and evidence-based content, ultimately fostering a kink culture that is more informed, respectful, and supportive for all involved.
